I absolutely adored the cozy and traditional Thai decor of Chatawan Homestay. The beautiful teakwood house and lovely furnishings made me feel like I was stepping back in time. The common areas were spacious and well-maintained, perfect for relaxing and socializing with other guests. As a senior woman, I appreciated the easy accessibility of the hotel with its level grounds and no stairs to navigate. It was a great relief to not have to worry about climbing up and down stairs at my age.
I would have loved to have some assistance from the children working there or other staff members to carry my luggage up to my room. It can be quite tiring for senior people to carry heavy bags, and a little help would have made my vacation even more enjoyable.

Convenient location close to a quiet area, Thailand and the mountains, and the room was individual. Staff were welcoming, and I loved the owner❤
